Fernanda Geraldes

• Hospital Assistant graduated in Gynaecology at the Specialist Hospital Medical Career, working in the Gynaecology Department of CHUC (ULS Coimbra, Portugal).

• President of the Menopause Section of the Portuguese Society of Gynaecology (SPG) from 2015 to January 2023, and Vice President of the SPG from then until now.

• Collaboration with the Organising Committee and Scientific Committee of The World Menopause Congress held in Lisbon from 26 to 29 October 2022.

• Organised and participated in national and international congresses and public events, mainly in the field of menopause, but also in the fields of pediatric and adolescent gynaecology and endocrine gynaecology.

• Participation in advisory boards and clinical trials.

• Presented more than 50 lectures at national and international meetings and congresses, and published articles in the field of gynaecology, particularly in the areas of menopause, postmenopausal osteoporosis, endocrine gynaecology, contraception, sexuality in disability, uterine myoma and endometriosis.

• Responsible for the Menopause Consultation from 2003 until now and the Pediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology Consultation at the Coimbra Children's Hospital from June 2011 until now.
